Recently the matter that whether there is PPOA in DuPont™ Teflon® non-stick cookwares causes Chinese media concerned extensively,at the same time,fluoroplastics also causes Chinese media concerned.Under this situation, China Fluoroplastic Subcommittee hold a expert's forum for this matter on July 15th ,2004.The experts all thought it should be explained objectively and scientificly to the public,mainly including the components of Teflon® non-stick coatings,the safety methods for cookware applications of Teflon® non-stick cookwares. Help restore domestic consumer’s and public’s confidence in fluoroplastic applications throught broaden public's knowledge.At the same time ,remind fluoroplastic enterprises care of staffs’ health and pay attention to the protection of environments.
